Sandy was last seen as Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo and Alexa Vere De
Vere in As Bees in Honey Drown (both for J CITY Theater). Her off-Broadway
credits include Julius Caesar, The Seagull, Living Proof and The Last Baby
Boomer. Regionally, she has performed with Actors Theatre of Louisville,
Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, St. Louis Repertory and Hudson
Shakespeare Company. She holds an MFA in Performance from Cincinnati
Conservatory of Music.
Rocio Alexis Mendez is an actor, born and raised in Hell’s Kitchen. Starting
theater at a very young age, Rocio has been trained at LaGuardia High School
for Performing Arts, Harlem School of the Arts and recently completed
conservatory training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She has
done productions with Harlem School of the Arts, Classical Theater of Harlem,
_gaia Studio, and currently performs for students about HIV/AIDS prevention
with the organization Pride not Prejudice. Rocio is extremely excited to be apart
of this production with J CITY Theater and hopes to have many more with them.
Brendan Wahlers recent credits - J CITY Theater: Nelson (The Spot) and
Howard (Moon Over Buffalo); Theater for the New City: Ray Crother (Serentias
(The Bad Seed), Regan (The Night of January 16th), Skip Winkley/Angelique
(Jeffrey), Noral (Jeannie With The Light Brown Hair), Moreno (Design For
Murder) and Phillip (Life, Death and Vermont) Brendan was a member of the
"Great Pretenders" Improv Group (L.A.) and currently a member of Tragic
Impov's 'Epione' in NYC.
Kellis was last seen as half the town of Tuna in J CITY Theater's annual holiday
production of A Tuna Christmas and Wagner in The Spot as part of the Hudson
County One Acts Festival 2008. As J CITY Theater's Associate & Technical
Director, he is excited to produce a third season. Past NYC-area shows
include: As Bees in Honey Drown, Sweet Love Adieu (New York premiere), The
Lark and The Three Sisters.
Shashone Lambert was born and raised in Staten Island. In May 2006, she
decided to follow her heart and began acting and dancing. She has done
theatre, independent films, print work, and more. She is currently a back-up
dancer for the upcoming R&B artist Lafonda. She never fears the unknown
because she knows her heroes are watching her from above. Much love and

Eileen Gaughan's recent stage credits include Big Dee in The Flora Dora Girls
(staged reading) with _gaia Studio and Ethel in Moon Over Buffalo with J CITY
Theater. She is the Program Coordinator for Hudson County Office of Cultural/
Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development. Eileen is also the Producer of Brennan
Coffeehouse Series, a monthly music series of folk, jazz and blues at The
Historic Brennan Courthouse.
Matt Schapiro is thrilled to appear in his first J CITY Theater production. He has
previously performed in over 30 plays in and around NYC including at La MAMA
ETC and the Ontological Theatre. He has performed regionally at the
Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts and the Old Globe Theatre in
San Diego, CA among other venues. Matt is also a husband, writer, director,
construction manager and political strategist.
Katherine graduated from Queens College, where she performed in Our Town
by Thorton Wilder, The Trial by Franz Kafka, and The Compleat Works of Wllm
Shkspr (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Borgeson. She has
also studied under Edward Morehouse at HB Studios.
Katherine was last seen as Rosalind in J CITY Theater's Moon Over Buffalo.
Rie in Watermelon by Ed Schroeder as part of the 2007 Hudson County One
Acts Festival.
